Sixteen percent of Swedish companies fell in 2009 for the vulnerability they are most worried about, according to a report from Statistics Sweden, SCB.

Errors in hardware or software that results in data spoilage is the most common security problem on the Swedish company with ten employees or more. The report shows IT in business, from Statistics Sweden, SCB. Sixteen percent of companies suffered from it in 2009.

Companies use different types of security devices to protect against potential IT security threats. Of the security tools and procedures that the companies were asked the most common practice that companies have data backup elsewhere than in the operating environment. This is the case in 69 percent of companies with 10 employees or more.

The industry that to the greatest extent have data backup outside the operating environment is a financial activity in which almost all firms (95 percent) use this operation. Even within Information and communication companies (86 percent) and energy and exploitation (82 percent) used this very much. Within hotels and restaurants, however, only two companies that have data backup outside the operating environment.
